Despite being bashed on various social media websites because of her trending Q&A answer at the recently concluded Miss Philippines Earth beauty pageant, Zamboanga City native Bellatrix Tan openly admitted that she was hurt after receiving hurtful comments she received in the past days.
In an interview with entertainment journalist MJ Felipe for ABS-CBN’s evening news program, ‘Bandila,’ the 20-year-old aspiring beauty queen shared her sentiments after getting bashed online.

According to Bellatrix, she already knew what to say in the Question & Answer portion but she got too nervous, which is basically why she forgot her answer. The aspiring beauty queen also admitted that she felt sad upon reading all the hurtful remarks concerning her trending Miss Philippines Earth Q&A answer.
“Alam ko ‘to. Alam ko ang El Niño at saka La Niña. Pero nung lumalabas na siya sa bunganga ko, yung parang nung end na, dun na nga. Like sumigaw na yung mga crowd, siyempre po na-down ako. Tapos kasi nga po narinig ko yung mga tao, like tumatawa, ganoon. Kasi po baka dahil lang dun sa sinabi ko, baka isipin nila na yun na nga, na stupid ako and everything.”
