Miss Philippines Earth recently crowned Imelda Schweighart as the organization’s next queen who will reign and represent the country in the annual Miss Earth beauty pageant.
Last Friday (June 11, 2016), Miss Philippined Earth held its annual pageant which took place at the UP Theater in Diliman, Quezon City.

At the said pageant, the 21-year-old Puerto Princesa City native bagged the sought-after Miss Earth title and crown. She will be succeeding 2015 Miss Philippines Earth and reigning Miss Earth queen, Angelia Ong.
Aside from Imelda, other contenders from the pageant were also crowned with various titles like Melanie Mader (Miss Eco-tourism), Shannon Rebecca Bridgman (Miss Philippines Fire), Loren Mar Artajos (Miss Philippines Water), and Kiaragiel Gregorio (Miss Philippines Air).
Imelda is bound to compete and represent the country in this year’s Miss Earth beauty pageant which is set to happen in October.
