Maxine Medina apologizes for ‘Imelda Marcos’ terno inventor claim

Philippine bet Maxine Medina clarified the statement she made, during a recorded part of the preliminaries in Vigan, that former First Lady Imelda Marcos invented the terno.

“Siguro mali yung word na nagamit ko. Pero Miss Imelda Marcos popularized that butterfly sleeves,” Medina said in an interview with reporter Mj Marfori posted on her Instagram account.
