Maxine Medina wows in vinta-inspired national costume

Philippine bet Maxine Medina proved the bashers wrong as she stunned with her national costume during the preliminaries of the 65th Miss Universe pageant, held at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City Thursday, January 26.

The beauty queen dazzled as she fiercely walked on stage, wearing a sleek gold gown complete with an extraordinary south sea pearl adorned headpiece. The ensemble is inspired by vinta, a traditional boat from Mindanao, and reportedly costs around P1 million.
