With Forbes releasing their list of the 100 Highest-Paid Celebrities of 2015, the Fireworks singer Katy Perry was named the Top Earning Musician for the year 2015.
Earning an income of $135 million in the past year, Forbes magazine said that the 30-year-old singer edged out One Direction making the boy band land in fourth place.

Katy shared on her Instagram page the joy she felt about seeing the fruits of her labor blossom and her dreams coming true, with a photo of her featured as Forbes cover, she hopes that this can be an inspiration to women.
