Seems like the hype brought by the epic historical film “Heneral Luna” was strong enough for it to go international and receive three nominations at the upcoming 10th Asian Film Awards on March 17, 2016 in Macau.
The remarkable film that left a huge impact on Philippine cinema is bound to compete internationally for three categories namely the Best Actor category for John Arcilla who played the phenomenal role of “Heneral Luna,” Best Costume Design for Carlo Tabije, and Best Production Design for Carlo Tabije and Benjamin Padero.
