The highest grossing historical film ‘Heneral Luna’ failed to make it to land a spot in the Golden Globe Awards Best Foreign Language Film category.
The five films that made it to the cut are “Mustang” (France), “The Club” (Chile), “Son of Saul” (Hungary), “The Brand New Testament” (Belgium) and “The Fencer” (Finland). There were 71 entries from 4 countries.
‘Heneral Luna’ is also the Philipine entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category of the 2016 Oscars.
