ABS-CBN released an official statement regarding the sex assault case involving ‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan’ grand champion Noven Belleza. Belleza was accused of a 19 year old lady singer of being taken advantage of.
“Noven Belleza posted bail today in connection with the charge of sexual assault filed with the Regional Trial Court of Cebu City. Noven asserts that he did not commit the crime charged and he will prove his innocence in the course of the legal proceedings.” said ABS-CBN.

Belleza was already released after posting a bail of PhP 120,000.00. The case was lowered from rape to sex assault which is bailable.
