Richard Hwan gained popularity through Eat Bulaga’s “You’re My Foreignoy” and won the Dabarkad’s Choice Award.
Though he does not have any Filipino blood, through past interviews, Richard mentioned that at heart, he is pure Pinoy.
He started his modelling career when he entered college at the prestigious University of the Philippines Diliman.

Now that he has finished school, Richard took pride graduating as Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Communication from the College of Mass Communication.
Through Instagram, Richard took the opportunity to thank his Alma matter and all of those who never stopped supporting him.
