After Phil Younghusband admitted that he and actress Bangs Garcia are not dating anymore because they both decided to keep their relationship status as to just friends, Bangs also said that things are better off when they decided to remain as friends.
“Phil and I were better off as friends. It’s one thing that I’ve learned in 2014, it doesn’t mean [that][since] both of you are nice in a relationship [eventually] you are going to work out as a couple” Bangs shared in an interview with Push.

Bangs said that she was looking something special between Phil and her, like a certain spark that can make their relationship more special.
“We dated, we were somehow looking forward to being a real couple but then [there’s no] certain spark. You have to have that certain spark [to become a couple] “she added. Despite not being a couple, Bangs said that she and Phil are in good terms.
Even though she did not find that certain spark with Phil, Bangs shared that she is currently dating a non-showbiz guy who is also half-British and half-Filipino like Phil.
Bangs said that the guy he is seeing right now is her inspiration. “I met him on January 2 to be exact. He’s a businessman from London who happens to be a half British also” the actress uttered.
Bangs described her new inspiration as to someone she can talk with about anything, she is comfortable and that everything between them comes out naturally. “We can talk [about] anything under the sun, anytime, anywhere even Skype sometimes for five to six hours” Bangs shared.
The actress said that she is really happy and her new inspiration will be here to visit very soon.
