Football player Phil Younghusband and actress Bangs Garcia are said to be dating in earlier reports, this was confirmed by Bangs in an interview with “Aquino and Abunda Tonight” last November of 2014.
But in a separate interview of Phil with TV5 last February 17, 2015, he admitted that he and Bangs are not dating anymore as they both decided to keep their relationship status as to just friends.

“I need to concentrate on my football [career]” the football player explained.
“But we’re still friends and there’s no ill feeling towards anyone, everyone’s happy. So I have time for myself, I think it’s good that I concentrate with football,” he added.
When it comes to settling down, Phil also said that he had learned a lot from his previous relationships that there is no need for him to hurry for such a huge step. He shared that in life, you cannot force or rush anything and let it just happen. Besides, he also said that he still needs to find a girlfriend first.
“No rush yet, I just have to find a girlfriend first. If it happens, it happens, if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. If I’m fifty years old and I’m still on my own, that’s life” uttered Phil.
For now, Phil, together with his older brother, also a football player, James Younghusband, will be hosting TV5’s “YHTUbe”, the show will feature candid of funny moments that happens in different sports.
“YHTube” will start airing on February 21, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. on TV5.
