After news of the tragedy faced by veteran Filipino actor Dick Israel spread through social media, many of his former colleagues in the entertainment industry have sent their help through different means.
Last July 16, actress Sunshine Cruz, together with Ynez Veneracion, visited Dick as shown in her Instagram post. Sunshine wrote: “Nice to see you Kuya Tats.”

According to Sunshine, Dick has been already provided with shelter through the various efforts made by concerned people to assist the former actor.
“May tirahan na po sya. Marami pong artista ang nagpapaabot ng tulong kay Kuya Tats. Let’s pray na tuloy tuloy na po ang recovery nya. Magiging regular na din ang pag therapy sa kanya kaya tiyak lalakas na po sya. Btw, he had his haircut yesterday,” wrote to her followers on the comments section of the photo she posted.
Sunshine and Dick have starred together in films such as ‘Lihim ni Madonna’ and ‘Ang Titser Kong Pogi.’
