Ryza also shared that she started overcoming her depression when Pope Francis arrived in the Philippines back in January 2015. She realized then that she still fears God and that she’s not really capable of killing herself.
A supportive fan also helped and influenced her to take up painting as a therapeutic tool to release her depression. According to Ryza painting proved to be a great help during the times she could not even try to seek help from experts or even her friends.
“Hangga’t kaya kong itago at kaya ko i-solve nang ako lang, isu-solve ko nang hindi sinasabi sa iba dahil ayoko maging pabigat.”
