For the first time ever, Starstruck Season 2 Ultimate Female Survivor Ryza Cenon confessed that she went through a depression phase last year which led to a couple of suicidal attempts.
In an interview with PEP.ph during her first art exhibit called “Independencia: Ang Panimula” last Thursday (June 9, 2016) at Chef Laudico Guevarra’s Restaurant, the 27-year-old Kapuso actress shared that her depression was triggered by a series of unfortunate events.

Ryza thinks that it all started when she got a new house that caused for her business to fail. Eventually, she started receiving less to no work projects.
“Sobrang na-depress ako. May time na iniisip ko talagang mag-suicide.”
However, the Kapuso actress assured her fans and supporters that she never had a suicide attempt that got her hospitalized.
“May times na sinasaktan ko yung sarili ko, pero hindi yung sinusugatan. Like kung anong mahawakan ko. Before pa (nangyari), may dumbbell tapos ipupukpok ko sa ulo ko. May times din yung ballpen ginaganun…..”
