Almost six years after her vocal chords were reportedly damaged caused by a particular surgery, Philippine cinema’s Superstar Nora Aunor revealed that she is bound to undergo a throat operation in July.
In an interview with PEP.ph, the Superstar said that she is will finally undergo a medical procedure that will help her regain her lost voice. According to Nora, the said operation will take place this coming July.

“Tuloy na po iyon dahil aalis na po ako ng July, naka-schedule na po ako. Pagkatapos po ng last movie kong gagawin, siguro magpapahinga muna ako. At kapag naayos na yung boses ko, na matagal ko nang pinapangarap na maipaopera, iyon naman muna ang haharapin ko, ang pag-awit.”
The Superstar also explained that she lost her voice while undergoing a certain cosmetic surgery in Japan a couple of years back. Moreover, Nora affirmed that she does not feel worried about her upcoming operation by saying:
