Nora Aunor plans to continue German Moreno’s advocacy

Superstar Nora Aunor said in an exclusive interview that she plans to continue German “Kuya Germs” Moreno’s advocacy of helping the youth and upcoming stars to fulfill their dreams.

Last Sunday (January 10, 2016), GMA 7’s magazine television show “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” presented a tribute to the Master Showman which showcased the life of German Moreno.

According to the Superstar, if not for Kuya Germs, she would not have a career in the showbiz industry. She also added that since then, she kept a close bond with the veteran host—even saying that Kuya Germs is the brother she has always been longing for.

“Siya lang talaga ang natatakbuhan ko. Ang maituturing kong pamilya, siya. Kasi naghahanap ako ng pagmamahal ng kapatid, naghanap ako ng pagmamahal ng pamilya, wala akong nakita. Sa kanya (Kuya Germs) ko lang nakita iyon.”

With his recent passing, Nora mentioned that she plans to continue wherever Kuya Germs left off.

“Gusto kong ipagpatuloy kung ano yung pagtulong na ginawa niya sa kabataan. Parang iniisip ko na gusto kong ipagpatuloy iyon. Imbis na siya ang gagawa, ako na yung gagawa para doon sa mga kabataan na gusto niyang tulungan.”
