Megastar Sharon Cuneta her sincerest appreciation and gratitude to the gesture of Superstar Nora Aunor during the 63rd Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards night.
Nora Aunor along with Gloria Romero, Susan Roces, Maricel Soriano, Dawn Zulueta and Sarah Geronimo were declared Iconic Movie Queens. Sharon felt a bit offended that her name was not included on the list considering her contribution to the local film industry.
During her acceptance speech, Nora acknowledged Sharon’s contribution.
“Sana gusto ko rin sanang makita ang iba pang dapat na nandito unang-una na si Ms. Sharon Cuneta dahil hindi natin matatawaran ang mga ginawa niya noong 80s.” Nora said.
On her Facebook page, Sharon posted a video with the following message:
