The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) summoned members of the production team of the reality television show ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ after an episode showed Rita Gabiola, a Badjao teen from Quezon, was allegedly bullied inside the famed house by her fellow housemates.
In a letter dated August 15 and marked as “Urgent,” MTRCB chair Eugenio Villareal called for a conference regarding the controversial August 12 episode of PBB. MTRCB Board member Atty. Noel Del Prado is set to meet with PBB executive producers Chairmaine Estreta, Adjanet Rase, and Oliver Torres, the show’s production manager Cynthia Jordan, business unit head Raymund Dizon, PBB’s creative manager Marcus Vinuya, and the head writers James Arellano and Alvin Quizon.
