The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) released the result of their Gender and Development (GAD) conference in relation to the complaint filed by Gabriela asking the board to look into It’s Showtime “Pastillas Girl” segment.
On it’s three page result published on their website (http://www.mtrcb.gov.ph/), the board said:

– the program shall ensure the protection of Ms. Angelica Yap’s (the real name of the so-called Pastillas Girl) dignity as a young woman.
– the program shall continue to brief Ms. Yap before any episode considering that she is arguably now a public figure.
– the board also acknowledged that Ms. Yap is provided a ‘life coach’ so that she may be guided as to how to mold her character.
The board further said ABS-CBN’s rule to screen first any attire or costume by a segment producer, wardrobe executive and administrative associate producer. And that prior rehearsal is required by any performer for review and approval by program executives.
