The group GABRIELA (General Assembly Binding Women for Reforms, Integrity, Equality, Leadership, and Action) has urged the Movie Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) to look into the “Pastillas Girl” segment of ABS-CBN noontime show It’s Showtime.
In a letter sent to ABS-CBN and MTRCB, Gabriela Secretary General Joan May Salvador said that her organization have been receiving complaints from concerned citizens “alleging that the show seems to be pimping… Pastillas Girl to various interested men.

“As an organization dealing with the protection and advancement of women’s right, we cannot dismiss such complaints” added Joan May Salvador.
