Meanwhile, the other four films “Kabisera,” “Oro,” “Saving Sally,” and “Sunday Beauty Queen” are reportedly having a dismal performance in the box office.
MMFF announced they will be granting a 30% discount to students, persons with disability, and senior citizens who will watch the aforementioned films .
This year’s Metro Manila Film Festival shook a lot of people and the local movie industry due to the changes MMFF’s new committee made in their criteria which embraced mostly indie films while shunned movies expected to rake in money.
