Maria Elena De Vera, mother of Mckaila saw the letter and sent her own letter to the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Media Office’s official Papal Visit Twitter page, informing them of her daughter’s wish to meet Yaya Dub because her father won’t be able to make it for her birthday because he is working abroad.
Mckaila got the surprise of her life when she was able to meet Yaya Dub – face to face. The meeting took place on the second day of the 4th Catholic Social Media Summit at Sta. Rosa City, Laguna where Maine Mendoza, Lola Nidora and the rest of the KalyeSerye team accepted their awards.
