Maine Mendoza (aka Yaya Dub) granted the wish of Mckaila Zyrel De Vera, a 7 year old girl who’s father is an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW).
In a story published by CBCPnews.com, the meeting started when Mckaila wrote a letter wishing that she would meet the most popular Yaya in the country today but later on crumpled it because she believes her wish is next to impossible.
Here is the letter of Mckaila:
“Dear Papa Jesus,
Hello po! Malapit na po 7th birthday ko. (My 7th birthday is coming up.) Wish ko po sana Makita si Ate Yaya Dub kaya lang imposible kasi sikat na sikat na siya saka sobrang busy. (It’s my wish to see Yaya Dub, but it’s impossible because she’s so famous and she might be really busy.) Papa Jesus, I know it’s not impossible but I believe that wishes do come true.
