With regard to opening up to her family about the career move she is about to make, KZ affirmed that she was able to explain her side to them; which leaves no room for misunderstanding within her family.
“It’s not rejecting. Alam naman ng family ko how I love them. In-explain ko naman sa kanila na hindi ko naman kinalimutan o tinanggal. I will always be KZ Tandingan forever, mawala man ako sa industriyang ito. Kumbaga, nickname lang siya, like Kyla, KZ. Parang ganoon po.”
Right now, KZ is busy gearing up for the upcoming 2016 Himig Handog songwriting competition as she gives life to the song “Laban Pa.” Also, she is bound to take part in a musical concert along with other talented artists in the industry.
