After a few hours, Mrs. Garvida wrote another comment, reiterating her earlier point that Mendiola’s contract was already over.
“May contract ang pagiging ambassador po..tapos na po ang contrata..let us have good vibes my friend..wala naman ginagawa.si Jessy sa inyo..and.theyre friends wag na po natin bigyan ng malesya God bless.”
Responding to the criticism, ABS-CBN News quickly changed the headline to “Sue Ramirez named new Korea tourism ambassador.”
This is not the first time Jessy’s mom defended her. Last July, Mrs. Garvida defended her daughter from the outpouring hate from bashers after allegedly being the reason of Luis Manzano and Angel Locsin breakup.
