“After this correction by the justice system, I have changed my outlook on life and my values,” Jaycee Chan, son of action star Jackie Chan, said after a public apology following his release from a six-month jail sentence for allowing people to use marijuana in his apartment.
Jaycee was asking a second chance at life and plans to start by rededicating himself to his family and entertainment business career.

His apology was broadcast live on Chinese state broadcaster CCTV last February 14, 2015. With this, Beijing hopes to gain from the high-profile case within sweeping anti-drugs crackdown.
Jaycee could have been sentenced to up to three years, but was shown leniency by the court for confessing the crime he had committed.
