Former Miss Universe titleholder Gloria Diaz was proud with Philippine bet Maxine Medina for her performance in the 65th Miss Universe on January 30 despite only landing a spot in the top 6.
“I think she did perfect. Ang galing-galing niya. Actually while I was watching, ako ang ninenerbyos. Ang lamig-lamig ng kamay ko. But you know, this is our country. You have to just wish that everybody was happy. Everybody was safe,” Diaz said to reporter Jessica Soho on GMA News 24Oras.
