Family and friends commemorate Fernando Poe Jr. on his 76th birthday

Relatives, friends and supporters gathered and trooped to the Manila North Cemetery on Thursday, August 20, 2015, to commemorate the 76th birth anniversary of Ronald Allan Kelley Poe, also known as Fernando Poe Jr.

Dubbed as “Da King” of Philippine movies, he died at the age of 65 on December 14, 2004 and was born on August 20, 1939.

Senator Grace Poe led the commemoration of her father’s 76th birth anniversary. Her mother Susan Roces, son Brian and Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada also joined the said gathering.

Meanwhile, yellow, blue and white ribbons were tied on trees and posts in several areas in Pangasinan to remember “Da King.”
