“Nag-apologize ako, nag-apologize din siya and we shook hands. We even hugged.”
Based on Diego’s story, after talking to Paulo, he noticed that one of his friends was getting beaten up by an unknown guy; which he thought was one of Paulo’s friends. The Kapamilya teen actor also noticed another unfamiliar guy who is believed to be armed with a weapon, which alarmed Diego and his friend of the possibility of getting into a fight.
“Doon na kami naging emosyonal. So binalikan ko si Paolo and started to ask him, ‘Paolo, do you know who that person was?’ Kasi imposibleng coincidence lang na may taong nagaabang sa amin.”
While talking to Paulo, Diego said a random person suddenly threw a punch at him, hitting his nose. Not long after, another punch landed on the 20-year-old actor’s face; now hitting his jaw, which caused for it to be dislocated. The series of punches left Diego “dazed” and helpless on the ground.
