Amidst the controversial altercation incident he is being linked to at present, Kapamilya teen star Diego Loyzaga finally broke his silence and recounted the circumstance—which took place at The Palace Pool Club in Taguig City last Sunday (March 13, 2016)—from his point of view.
Through an interview with ABS-CBN news correspondent Ginger Conejero, the 20-year-old Star Magic artist remembered the traumatic night as he shared his side of the story after days of keeping mum about the issue.

According to Diego, the misunderstanding sparked when an unfamiliar girl—who turns out to be Wilmer Angelo Lopez’ girlfriend—approached him and asked for a photo with him. Merely minutes after, Diego was confronted by Wilmer Paulo Lopez and violently reacted on the young actor’s “malicious” gesture.
“Ang alam ko, may nagpa-picture sa akin na babae and right after that, nagreact ‘yung isa (sa mga) Lopez brothers sa akin, kinuha niya ako, hinawakan niya ako sa chest. He dragged, he pushed me onto the ground.”
After making a scene inside the posh bar, Paulo and Diego both decided to settle and clarifiy things outside the bar. The teen star even recalls that he and Paulo were able to talk peacefully and became civil after making some clarifications on the misunderstanding.
