Billy also shared that he had difficulties playing his part in the film.
“Of course nahirapan pa rin, kasi as an actor, bilang straight, to portray ng gay role, it’s very difficult because ayaw mong masaktan, ayaw mo rin namang maging OA kasi baka naman masktan ang LGBT. Sa totoo lang I have to ask Vice (Ganda), I have to ask a lot of my friends kung paano bang maging bakla lalo na yung tinatago mong bakla ka. So, it took awhile to adjust, pero napakahusay talaga ni Direk Joel kasi gina-guide niya ako,” he explained.
‘That Thing Called Tanga Na’, an LGBT-themed comedy film under Regal Films and directed by Joel Lamangan, will premiere in cinemas nationwide on August 10.
