At least 37 dead, 54 injured in Resorts World Manila attack

Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella, said that the man as “emotionally disturbed individual.”

Abella also shared that the deaths were caused by the thick smoke coming from the 2nd floor gaming area, which had been set by the gunman on fire.

Albayalde adding that the thick smoke are from the burning carpet and other highly-combustible materials from the area, which greatly suffocated others.

PNP Chief Director Dela Rosa, said that there are 54 people injured, and 18 people requiring medical attention.

As of now, the PNP still haven’t given any further information regarding the identification of the suspect.
