After the controversial disqualification of this year’s MMFF entry “Honor Thy Father” for the Best Picture category, netizens, specifically the movie goers reacted with the decision of the MMFF committee.

Last Sunday (December 27, 2015), Angelica reposted Ricci Chan’s (@_riccichan_) Instagram post about his thoughts regarding the film, “Honor Thy Father”. Ricci, who is a known actor and make-up artist expressed how Filipinos should support the official movie entries for MMFF 2015. He also encouraged and invited people to watch “Honor Thy Father”.
Hence, a netizen turned to his Instagram and compared John Lloyd Cruz to AlDub saying that Maine and Alden will never be as good as John Lloyd.
