Report have indicated that the reason behind “American Idol’s” cancellation is primarily because of the program’s constant decline in ratings resulting to fewer advertisements on the show.
A promotional video called “AMERICAN IDOL XV: The Farewell Season” was uploaded on American Idol’s official YouTube channel last December 13, 2015, wherein the show took a walk down the memory lane remembering how it started and its past seasons.
The show will have a two-night season premiere on January 6 and 7, 2016.
