A woman is facing charges after she tried to smuggle an eight year old boy by putting him inside a suitcase. The 19 year old woman was traveling from Morocco to Ceuta, when border patrol agents noticed her acting suspiciouly.
She was asked to have her pink suitcase pass through an x-ray machine and authorities were surprised to see an image of a human being. Upon opening the suitcase, they found an 8-year-old boy identified as Abou, who later told authorities he was from the Ivory Coast.
The child was taken into custody by social services.
