WATCH: ‘Price Is Right’ model gives away a car by mistake

A contestant of the game show ‘Price Is Right’ should thank Manuela Arbelaez (model / presenter) a lot for handing her a $21,960 Hyundai Sonata SE on a silver platter.

The contestant (Andrea) is playing ‘Five Price Tags’ and is vying for the car. She needs to guess the right price of the car and she is only given 3 chances (out of the five price tag) to choose correctly.

Andrea first guess is $19,849 (which is wrong). Manuela open the price tag $19,849 to reveal that it is the wrong price, then for whatever reason, Manuela open the $21,960 price tag (which happens to be the correct price) by mistake. The car is about P 966,240 in pesos.

“Congratulations! Manuela just gave you a car!” host Drew Carey told the contestant. The contestant (Andrea) won the car.

Manuela was so surprise with what she did that she hid herself behind the price tags.

Here is the Video:

So was she fired because of the mistake? Of course not, she was not even reprimanded for the error nor was the price deducted from her paycheck. It is all part of the game.

Manuela has been showcasing prizes on “The Price is Right” for six years. The clip on the show’s official YouTube channel has received more than 6 million views.
