Actress and TV host Maine Mendoza (aka Yaya Dub) tried a social experiment by disguising herself as a ‘taong grasa’ and went into the streets of Manila to check how people will respond to her.
While there were some who ignored her, there were those who tried to help her and gave her assistance by providing money and food despite her appearance.

On her Instagram account, Maine posted a photo of her in her disguise with the following caption:
“Achievement unlocked-ish! Mafufully unlocked ka din soon! #ootd”
Maine was touched to find that there are still good samaritans out there who are willing to give a helping hand to the poor.
