Netizens were informed about the incident because of a Facebook post on Saturday morning by AJ Rafael, also a YouTube sensation. He wrote:
“Hey everyone, please pray for my good friend Christina Grimmie who was shot 4 times tonight at her meet and greet while the shooter killed himself right after… Please pray for her healing… In your name we pray Lord….”
Christina Grimmie was popularly known by her covers of hits songs by pop musicians that she uploaded on YouTube and later on joined “The Voice Season 6”. Christina visited the Philippines two years ago, October 2014.
