The president of UST Alumni Association Inc. (USTAAi) Henry Tendero decided to step down as President of the said association and took full responsibility with regards to the award given to Asec. Mocha Uson.
The group issued an apology to the Thomasian community and to the general public for the controversy resulted by the confernment of the award to Asec. Uson, but maintained that they will not rescind the recognition already conferred.
