For the first time ever, Tommy Esguerra’s family–mom, stepfather, sister, and his two grandmothers–met Miho Nishida’s family inside the PBB house where Tommy’s mom emotionally shares her sentiments on Miho and Tommy’s blooming relationship.
During the November 21, 2015 episode of ToMiho: A Love Realiserye on It’s Showtime, Tommy’s family paid a visit inside the PBB house where Miho and her family temporarily stays, to have a formal meeting over lunch.

The Esguerra family brought food and gifts for the Nishida family, which is relatively similar to the Filipino tradition of pamamanhikan.
During the said lunch meeting, Tommy’s mother (Mommy Shirley) personally thanked Miho and her family for accepting Tommy. Also she mentioned that she feels safe and knows that the Nishida family will take care of Tommy who will be left alone in the country.
Tommy’s mom expressed how happy she is for her son as she shed tears of joy saying,
“Masaya kami sa nangyayari sa inyo. So, tignan natin where this is gonna go. Right now, alam ko masaya ang anak namin. So, of course, masaya kami.”
