Sportscaster Ronnie Nathanielsz dies at 81

What is a sport event without Ronnie Nathanielsz? One of the most well-known sportscaster of Philippine sport industry Ronnie Nathanielsz died in San Francisco, California November 11, 2016 (Saturday morning in Manila). He was 81.

Ronnie experience chest pains on his way Las Vegas for the Manny Pacquiao vs Jessie Vargas WBO welterweight title fight. He was confined at the ICU of Mills-Peninsula Medical Centers in Burlingame, California.

Ronnie was born in Sri Lanka and moved to the Philippines in 1962 and became a naturalized Filipino citizen. He was considered an icon in Philippine sports for his contribution to the industry.
