“It was difficult before. We were both young. We were both in this really intense relationship. Parang we kind of ended up hating each other in some points. And then it ended there.”
Solenn also mentioned that she previously received offers to collaborate with Derek but she just keeps on rejecting them since the actress-singer was trying to build up her own image.
“Actually, dati I’ve been offered two jobs with Derek but and I kept saying ‘no’ just because when I entered showbiz, the questions that were being asked all the time was about Derek. I wanted to mark my own name in the industry; not just being the ex of Derek. So, no-no talaga ako.”
Derek and Solenn will be starring in the upcoming Valentine film “Love is Blind” along with Kiray Celis, Kean Cipriano, and Chynna Ortaleza. The said film was written and directed by Jason Paul Laxamana and will be available in theaters starting on February 10, 2016.
