Shamaine Buencamino talks to the media for the first time since her youngest daughter Julia’s sudden death last July 7, 2015.
The veteran actress came across theatergoers and entertainment media at the premiere of the play “33 Variations” last Thursday (July 23, 2015). In the press interview, media were requested to ask questions that focuses only on the play.

Shamaine gives life to the character of Katherine, a music scholar with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and is also a mother with a broken relationship with her daughter.
She referred to the passing of Julia and admitted that she had had to control herself because flashes of reality can come even if she is on stage. She is set to do a project with ABS-CBN soon.
