After undergoing a triple bypass surgery, OPM legend Rico J. Puno is on his way to recovery. Rico spent more than seven hours in the operating room of the Asian Hospital.
In an interview with MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN, Rico said he feels like he was given another 48 years of life after the surgery.
“Ayos na ayos siya, Ako ang heart ko, pure na pure, malinis. “Sabi nga nila, parang additional 48 years again” said Rico.
“Ang problema sa akin is my heart is big, yung aorta thats the biggest veins, may aneurysm yun at may sugat na” added Rico.
When asked if there was a time that he has given up. This is what Rico said “Hindi ko nilagay sa isip ko na, ‘Wala, matsutsugi itong si Corics. 100 percent I believe that God will heal me”.
