Margaux “Mocha” Uson was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte as the assistant secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO). The President signed the appointment paper of Uson on May 8.
The position of Uson as board member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) is deemed relinquished due to her new post as assistant secretary of PCOO.

In a letter released by Malacanang, it reads:
“Pursuant to the provisions of existing laws, you are hereby appointed Assistant Secretary, Presidential Communications Operations Office. By virtue hereof, you may qualify and enter upon the performance of the duties of the office, furnishing this Office and the Civil Service Commission with copies of your oath of office.”
