Playboy to stop publishing photos of nude women

After 62 years, Playboy announced that it will no longer print photos of naked women. The reason – the proliferation of free hi-res nude photos on the Internet.

“You’re now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free. And so it’s just passe at this juncture,” Playboy Enterprises CEO Scott Flanders told The New York Times.

Starting March 2016, Future versions of Playboy print version will still feature pictures of women in ‘provocative poses’, but not full nudity

Last August of 2014, Playboy banned full nudity from its website and the company said the traffic quadrupled to 16 million because of their decision.
