“I wouldn’t say ‘I love you’ to my ‘friend’ Dr. Mike. Pahirapan natin siya. Dapay mauna siya, tapos ‘yung parang pag-iisipan ko kung sasagot ako.”
The Miss Universe queen also revealed that unlike most Filipinas, she is not that “malambing” and clingy. In fact, Pia admitted that Dr. Mike tends to be more expressive and affectionate than her.
“Alam mo, hindi kasi ako masyadong malambing. Siguro most Filipinas are (sweet) but ako kasi, hindi. Baliktad kami (ni Dr. Mike).”
Despite being open about her relationship with the ‘Sexiest Doctor Alive,’ the reigning Miss Universe queen assured her fans and supporters that being Miss Universe is still her top priority. Pia added that she made it clear with Dr. Mike that she remains focused on fulfilling her duties and responsibilities as this year’s Miss Universe.
“Masakit sa kanya (Dr. Mike), pero sinabi ko talaga sa kanya na ito (Miss Universe) ‘yung number one priority ko.”
