Comedian Vice Ganda has been accused of hypocrisy after expressing his dismay on the People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao; who criticized the LGBT community and even tagged people who take part in same-sex marriage to be “worse than animals.”
The Kapamilya star’s reactions on Twitter last Tuesday (February 16, 2016) backfired when some netizens brought up the 2013 controversy involving Vice and veteran broadcast journalist Jessica Soho.

During his concert held at the Araneta Coliseum that year, Vice Ganda poked fun at Soho’s weight referring to her as a “pig” in a sketch about celebrities as bold stars.
Vice on the other hand has been known in making fun of people as a form of a joke but on Wednesday (February 17, 2016), the Kapmilya comedian used his Twitter account in responding to the criticisms thrown at him.
“A joke of a comedian is different from a statement of a ‘politician.’ So why take a joke seriously and take a serious statement as a joke?” the comedian-host explained.
