The representative of Honduras for the Miss World 2014, Maria Jose Alvarado, died in a tragic way days before she flies to London for the upcoming pageant.
She was found buried with her sister near the area where they were last seen. Officials of Honduras believe they were murdered.
The 120 candidates for the Miss World 2014 united and showed their condolences to the family of Maria Jose.
Meanwhile our very own, Megan Young, the reigning Miss World, was also emotional regarding this news and will dedicate her final walk for Miss Honduras.
“The final show will be dedicated to them, like I dedicate my final walk to them because it’s to tragic thing for such a young girl and for her family to go through” Megan said with an interview with ABS-CBN news.
We also pray for justice upon what happened to Miss Honduras Maria Jose Alvarado.
