On an Instagram upload last Friday (April 1, 2016), Meryll proudly shared her most recent life achievement. As seen on the photo’s caption, the actress-director expressed her gratitude to all those who believed in me and helped her fulfill her dream of becoming a director.

“This marks a milestone. I am eternally grateful to the people who have helped me today. The whole production, crew, my saviour JP, our friends Marvin, Andrei and Fafi , my love Ricci, my dearest Carlo, Marc and my Baby Girl. Napapailing na lang ako sa tuwa. Punong-puno and puso ko. Salamat, maraming maraming Salamat. #sweptaway”

Meryll first exhibited her directing skills through a music video called “Swept Away” which features Alessandra de Rossi and Marc Abaya. Aside from directing, Meryll also portrays a supporting role in GMA7’s primetime series “That’s My Amboy.”
